My Photography Year 2024 — January to February — Part One
What a year it has been! Over 134,795 photos have been taken at over 200 events. It has been a fantastic year of photography with lots of fun events. I feel fortunate that I do something that I enjoy.
Below, I will write about my favourite photographs of each event that took place in each month of 2024. Part one is from January to February. Most photos were taken at press previews or photocalls at various events. The rest are private events, photography workshops, and model shoots. I mainly specialise in art gallery openings, plus fashion and music events. However, I did less music this year. Events range from the Chelsea Flower Show to Royal events to exhibitions at art galleries. Most of my photographs are sent to news agencies, where they get sold on my behalf. Many thanks to all the PR agencies and communication departments from various institutions that have given me invites this year.
It was also my first full year with the Nikon Z8 camera, which I have been delighted with. It has improved my photography with the viewfinder, enabling me to see precisely what the photo will look like before you press the shutter button.
